Kitchen
The kitchen adjoins the dining room thru a swing door. To the rear of the kitchen is the family or sun room which has two sides of glass (all double-paned) including French doors to the large screened porch. There is amble storage and workspace including an island. The cabinets and Corian countertops are all white as is the tile backsplash.
Family/Sun Room
The family room is located on the back of the house and adjoins the kitchen thru a double door. This room has a brick floor, built in bookshelves and storage (to hide the DVD/VCR/Satellite, etc.). Unlike the rest of the house, this older addition has a brick floor. The back wall is all glass (double-hung windows with double-paned panels). The side wall is the same with the addition of French doors (also with double-paned glass) which opens onto the recently added screened porch.
Screened Porch
The screened porch was added in 2001 and during a good part of the year, is an integral part of the living area of the house. This porch has painted floors and two ceiling fans. And, to make it look like it has always been there, the porch roof was extended over the entire back of the house enclosing the roofs which covered the kitchen, family and laundry room. This not only "squares" the footprint of the house, giving it a finished look, it allows for a large attic storage via pull-down stairs from the porch. You can also enter the house from the porch thru the original back door into the rear hall.
